I lay on the ground covered by a transparent plastic sheet as thousands of bubbles blow in from off screen and accumulate on top of my body, gradually burying me under one huge mass. Accompanying sound is the backwards playback of text written and recited by me regarding the inadequacies of verbal communication. Beginning and ending in silence, this piece visualizes the futility and frustration sometimes associated with the simple act of talking and the death-like nullification of the self that can take place when language fails.
